Our Story
At Hangar, our goal is simple: to connect the aviation community through innovative solutions. Our journey started in late 2022 when founder Sam, with no formal coding experience, set out to create an app that combined the thrill of flying with the tracking features pilots loved in apps like Strava.
By learning as he went and listening to user feedback, Hangar quickly grew to over 7,000 users and 1,000 daily active pilots. Today, Hangar has been featured in Flying Magazine and connects pilots worldwide through flight tracking, logbook integration, and a vibrant, engaged community.
What started as a solo project has become a hub for pilots to share and celebrate their flying adventures.
